<div> Job Title: Accounting Intern Department: Finance &amp; Accounting Reports to: Controller Effective Date:  Summer 2026 Location: Hybrid-Houston, TX Travel: 0% POSITION PURPOSE:    This is a temporary, non-exempt position that will be reporting to the Controller. This position is responsible for supporting KCE’s Controller and AP Manager with day-to-day financial operations. This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls while offering exposure to real-world business processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: <ul><li>Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable  </li></ul><ul><li>Support month-end close activities </li></ul><ul><li>Reviewing, coding and processing vendor invoices </li></ul><ul><li>Reconciles account ledgers by verifying and posting financial transactions </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accounting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation </li></ul><ul><li>Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned </li></ul><ul><li>All other duties as required </li></ul>WORK EXPERIENCE &amp; REQUIREMENTS:         • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.        • High degree of attention to detail.        • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.        • Strong organizational and time-management skills.        • Strong knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office.        • Ability to work in a small team    Physical Requirements:  <ul><li>Prolonged periods of working on a computer </li><li>​​​​​​​Attendance in Houston office at least two days a week</li></ul> </div>
