And that’s where you come in.Accountabilities  Development of functional schemes (vehicle and subassemblies)<ul><li>Development of wiring diagrams (vehicle and subassemblies)</li><li>Development of electrical documentation for production (topographic diagrams, wiring tables, harness drawings etc.)</li><li>Design of electrical subassemblies (electrical cubicle in the compartment, electrical boxes outside the car, etc.)</li><li>Definition of electro/mechanical components and electrical components for wiring</li><li>Preparation of system requirements specification and component technical specification</li><li>Preparation of the electrical requirements specifications of the vehicle</li><li>Support during the on-board integration test for electrical functions</li><li>Design review with Clients and Suppliers  </li></ul>Required Skills/ Knowledge<ul><li>Experience in the railway industry (preferred) with the role of Systems Electrical Engineer and/or Designer focused on Electrical systems.</li><li>Recommended knowledge of the main regulations relating to electrical systems in the railway business, for design and testing.</li><li>Recommended knowledge of the main office automation software/tools (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)</li><li>Recommended knowledge of mechanical design software (Autocad, Creo, Catia, etc.) and the IBM DOORS requirements management tool.</li><li>Recommended knowledge of electrical design software (preferred E3 Zuken).</li><li>Recommended knowledge of Engineering Processes and Railway Operations.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, with the attitude to contribute with constructive and practical ideas.</li><li>Readiness to work effectively in a collaborative, fast paced, multitasking international environment.</li><li>Ability to work autonomously in teams and for projects is required.</li><li>Availability for short-term national and international business trip.  </li></ul>Desired Skills/ Knowledge<ul><li>Good knowledge of electrical schematics/topics</li><li>Ability to manage and plan the assigned tasks independently and team-working.</li><li>Ability to analyze business requirements, problem-solving attitude and business process analysis.</li><li>Ability to face the different internal functions (internal customer) and external (suppliers, customers, partners).</li><li>Versatile in learning and strong desire to remain up to date with changes in technology and best industry practices.</li><li>Strong business acumen &amp; technical skills.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Attitude to work in an international and multi-cultural reality.  </li></ul>Education / Qualifications  Degree in Electric or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.LanguagesGood knowledge of written and spoken English is mandatory.
