We will continue to innovate and do our part to preserve the environment by creating vehicles to reduce carbon emissions. General Responsibilities:Research, plan, and design electrical and/or electromechanical products in the context of gas and electric buses.Direct and oversee the fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of electrical products and systems.Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans.Apply knowledge to make appropriate recommendations to modify designs or repair equipment as needed.Research, analyze, and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials, and vendor data.Research, program, and modify automotive engine control units for special use cases.Ensure products and systems conform to engineering design and customer specifications. Working Conditions and Environment: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) Long and varied hours required occasionally.Exposure to fumes, chemicals, and toxic items that require training for haz-mat. Physical Demands: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions) While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and hear.
