We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Main purpose of positionCurrently we are looking for a Project Cost Controller in Romania to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. This is a highly visible, challenging, hands-on, dynamic and wide-ranging role covering activities such as business partnering with non-finance teams to add value to the construction segment, driving strategy and profitability across the different projects. As our Project Cost Controller, you will have sole responsibility for all cost-controlling related activities on our projects in Romania and create a fully developed detailed project budget together with the Project Manager and Procurement.The position is a key resource in the Finance team and will report to the Head of Business Controlling.  Main responsibilities <ul> <li>Collaborate with PM, procurement, and engineering to develop and maintain the project cost forecast on an ongoing basis.</li> <li>Work closely with the PM to generate all required project status reports for the project team and internal management.</li> <li>Maintains project cash flows monitoring both the forecasted cash flows and actual cash flows of the project.</li> <li>Perform delta analysis of actual projects costs vs budget on an ongoing basis bringing to the Project Managers attention any deviations and or variations to the budget.</li> <li>Manage the risks and opportunities portfolio for the project together with the Project Manager (PM) and maintain the risk register.</li> <li>Evaluate the financial impact on the project margin of changes and variations in Scope of Work.</li> <li>Responsible for Project Monthly, performing financial analysis and reporting on all key figures of the projects in scope (revenue, cost of sale and gross margin).</li> <li>Check the accuracy of project actual internal costs – salaries, travel expenses and booking of time in line with the budget.</li> <li>Work with the business controlling team to improve the project cost controlling process, leading certain sub-processes in line with experience. </li></ul>Qualifications and competencies <ul> <li>University degree in Finance, Business or equivalent</li> <li>3-6 years of relevant work experience, preferably from an international environment</li> <li>Ability to consolidate data from several sources for presentation, being able to efficiently process and evaluate large data volumes and propose actions based on findings</li> <li>Ability to build strong networks and collaborate efficiently with functions outside of finance.
