We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Main purpose of positionCurrently we are looking for a Cost Controller in Cairo, Egypt to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future.As our Cost Controller, you will ensure accurate financial monitoring, reporting, and cost control across projects, providing professional and efficient support to project teams and finance colleagues. You will be part of an ambitious global Finance team and play an important role in driving financial discipline, supporting decision-making, and contributing to Scatec’s continued growth and profitability. Main responsibilities: <ul> <li>Controlling and reporting of costs and income on allocated Release projects in their respective phases</li> <li>Update &amp; maintain project controlling tools</li> <li>Review and approve Eye-share invoices, ensuring correct entity &amp; project allocations</li> <li>Stakeholder engagement outside of the Release finance function (Procurement and Logistics, Project Managers, Business Development team, O&amp;M team, planning etc.) on project and financing related matters.</li> <li>Maintain project cash flow forecasts and actual data</li> <li>Responsible for monthly allocated project and inputs to managerial reporting tasks.</li> <li>Interpreting data, both financial and non-financial, and understanding the impact of these on Release projects – all phases.</li> <li>Monthly invoicing – Intercompany &amp; Clients – where applicable</li> <li>Support with inventory reconciliations for project cost allocation</li> <li>Monitoring monthly timesheet submissions and cost allocations.</li> <li>Data modeling &amp; analysis for business improvement</li> <li>Attend to ad-hoc tasks as and when required by Project Controller</li></ul> Qualifications and competencies <ul> <li>Degree in finance, business or equivalent.</li> <li>6+ years relevant work experience, preferably from an international environment.</li> <li>Ability to consolidate data from several sources for presentation, being able to efficiently process and evaluate large data volumes and propose actions based on findings.</li> <li>Experience in Renewable energy industry</li> <li>Master Microsoft suite (Particularly Excel) and business intelligence tools (Including the use of AI).</li> <li>Fluent in English, written and verbally.</li> <li>Overall curiosity and ability to contribute to Finance areas such as TAX, Treasury, Accounting, Financial Reporting and Systems, Asset Management and other internal stakeholders.</li></ul> Additional Information:<ul> <li>12 Month Contract with potential contract extension.</li></ul> Personal characteristicsIt is part of every employee’s terms of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhere to our company values which are:<ul> <li>Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, shares information in an open and honest way</li> <li>Driving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritise and work independently</li> <li>Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust</li> <li>Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude</li></ul>We offerScatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
