Responsibilities / Tasks<h3>1. Project Management – Automation Projects</h3><ul><li>Manage automation projects, regular projects, and service projects across SEA and wider APAC.</li><li>Ensure project automation compliance with: Customer specifications Functional analysis GEA norms Automation standards</li></ul><h3>2. Technical Leadership &amp; Team Development</h3><ul><li>Act as Line Manager for Automation Engineers and Lead Automation Engineers.</li><li>Supervise, evaluate, and mentor team members to support their growth within GEA.</li><li>Provide guidance and support to project teams, including on-site involvement when required.</li><li>Ensure correct application of GEA methodologies and internal rules.</li></ul><h3>3. Sales &amp; Quotation Support</h3><ul><li>Perform project estimations for sales and after-sales.</li><li>Support Sales Management teams in defining automation scopes and solutions.</li><li>Travel for sales and project support as needed.</li></ul><h3>4. Project Execution &amp; Delivery</h3><ul><li>Organize and initiate automation project implementation within allocated budget.</li><li>Seek opportunities for budget optimization while maintaining quality and timelines.</li><li>Evaluate and continuously monitor risks throughout projects and quotations.</li></ul><h3>5. Regional Responsibility</h3><ul><li>Primary project responsibility within SEA, with extension to APAC when required.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<div>Education &amp; Certifications<ul><li>Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering or relevant Engineering Background</li><li>Professional Project Management certification preferred (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).</li></ul>Technical Expertise<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Automation and/or Electrical engineering.</li><li>Strong background in project execution, technical implementation, and end‑to‑end project management.</li><li>Solid understanding of hygienic design principles applicable to industrial environments.</li><li>Knowledge of QHSE standards within relevant industries.</li><li>High level of technical awareness across automation, engineering systems, and industrial processes.</li></ul>Project Management Skills<ul><li>Demonstrated experience in leading teams, mentoring, and managing cross‑functional groups.</li><li>Competence in project management fundamentals, including:<ul><li>Schedule Management</li><li>Cost Management</li><li>Time Management</li></ul></li></ul>Tools &amp; Systems<ul><li>Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Internet tools and Microsoft Office applications.</li></ul>Language Skills<ul><li>English: Professional Working Proficiency, both written and verbal.</li></ul></div>Did we spark your interest?
