Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Manage the Customs &amp; Trade Compliance program in the US for the purpose of mitigating risk to the company.  (Including classifications, valuations, training program, manuals).</li><li>Assist in the development and management of the USMCA region customs broker strategy including auditing, performance monitoring, process improvement and service contract negotiation.</li><li>Support on global processes (e.g. export control processes, Denied Party Screening, etc.).</li><li>Conduct internal audits / self-assessments at manufacturing plants and corporate offices in the US.</li><li>Develop, monitor and report on established KPIs and ACE reports.</li><li>Communication with customs authorities and external service providers</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or job related field from an accredited institution.</li><li>Automotive customs experience.</li><li>Work experience 3 years minimum in similar role.</li><li>Manufacturing, Purchasing, Legal, Logistics experience a plus.</li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills with strict attention to detail.</li><li>In depth knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection Regulations</li><li>Knowledge of Canadian and Mexican regulations of advantage</li><li>Working knowledge of CBP portals and website</li></ul>The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
