Senior Service Sales EngineerResponsibilities / Tasks<ul><li>Conduct schedule customer visits and sales calls for enquiry generation, customer interaction, market evaluation, Service product promotion.</li><li>Maintain and develop close relationship with key customers.</li><li>Ensure timely submission of quotation/tenders (including technical data, scope matrix and KPIs) as per the commitments set forth by the sales team to the customer, both for liquid and powder project enquiries.  </li><li>Ensure accuracy of cost estimation with a variance of ± 2% of the budgeted transfer price shared to project.    </li><li>Build relationship and ensure close coordination with concerned CoC (Centre of Competence) and various internal departments of E&amp;I, Automation, Plant Engineering etc.  </li><li>Conducting plant audit for existing setup before submitting offer to customer.</li><li>Derive competitive estimation model of service projects and ensuring required profit margins and lead time,</li><li>Prepare enquiry specification and evaluate vendor offer in line with the customer requirement. </li><li>Provide support to GEA legal team on contracts.</li><li>Participate in technical and commercial customer meetings required for project closure.</li><li>Manage post order activities and ensure on-time submission of documents required to release down-payment from the customer.  </li><li>Resolving any problems with the team, plans and budget to ensure that the project flows smoothly.</li><li>Maintaining HSE Standards &amp; all Compliance Driven policies.</li><li>Promoting standardized solutions in accordance with customer requirement.</li><li>Increase the hit ratio by providing tailor made solutions to customers pain points and prompt response.</li><li>Prompt data Management to identify and understand the enquiry and find solution in a shorter period.</li><li>Representing Pre and post order meetings.</li><li>Interdepartmental communication to minimize gaps.</li><li>Communication with vendors and sub vendors right from pre order stage to reduce delivery period, competitive costing.</li><li>Acts independently in day to day running of ongoing pre order projects.</li><li>Implements industrial practices and standards.</li><li>Works to identify solutions to complex problems.</li><li>Actively involved with Process and project engineering during the build process to ensure design intent has been met.</li></ul>Your Profile / QualificationsB.E./ B Tech Chemical / Dairy Technologist/ Engineering with 5 - 8 years of experienceDid we spark your interest?
