We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build and ship production AI features powered by LLMs. This role is hands-on backend development, designing APIs, building services, and integrating AI into real applications used across the business.You’ll work on problems such as RAG and on deploying AI features to production. This is not a research role. You’ll build reliable, scalable AI functionality that people use every day. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work, to be based from either Houston or Dallas, TX. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Build backend services and APIs that integrate LLMs into real applications</li><li>Develop AI-powered features using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)</li><li>Design scalable services using async processing, queues, and microservices patterns</li><li>Integrate AI functionality into existing products and workflows</li><li>Own features end-to-end: build, deploy, monitor, and improve AI functionality in production</li><li>Solve real-world AI challenges around latency, response quality, and cost</li><li>Work with structured and unstructured data to support AI features</li><li>Partner with engineering and data teams to deliver reliable, production-ready solutions</li></ul>
