ONYX Insight is looking for a Consulting Engineer to support the delivery of high-value technical consultancy projects across the wind energy sector in Latin America and Europe. This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who enjoys solving real engineering problems and turning data into actionable insights.What you’ll do<ul><li>Deliver consultancy projects including engineering data analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), O&amp;M optimisation, life extension, and technical due diligence</li><li>Engage directly with clients to understand challenges and present clear, actionable recommendations</li><li>Analyse large datasets to identify performance issues and improvement opportunities</li><li>Prepare and deliver high-quality technical reports and presentations</li><li>Manage complex projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to high quality standards</li><li>Support continuous improvement of methodologies and engineering approaches</li><li>Collaborate with global teams to deliver projects across LATAM an Europe when required</li><li>Work on-site when required, including onshore and offshore wind turbines</li></ul>What we’re looking for<ul><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical roles related to wind turbine technology or wind farm operations</li><li>Previous experience at a wind turbine OEM, power producer, or renewable energy consultancy</li><li>Strong expertise in at least one of the following: RCA and failure investigation, performance analysis, O&amp;M, life extension, electrical systems</li><li>Solid data analysis capabilities</li><li>Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques for wind turbines</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear way</li><li>Experience managing complex projects and working directly with clients</li><li>Hands-on mindset and ability to work on-site (onshore and offshore)</li><li>Comfortable working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and solving problems independently</li><li>Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages such as Spanish, German or French are a plus</li><li>Availability and willingness to travel across LATAM and to Europe</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>A flexible and collaborative working environment where your ideas are valued</li><li>Competitive package including pension, medical insurance, and annual bonus</li><li>Opportunities to grow technically and work on cutting-edge solutions</li><li>The chance to contribute to a more efficient and sustainable energy future</li></ul>Who we are ONYX Insight is a growing technology and engineering company in the renewable energy sector.
