We offer the possibility of hybrid work. This is a fixed-term assignment (12 months initially) covering a maternity leave, within the HR Strategy Office, reporting to the Head of HR Service Development.  Your role and responsibilities  As a Senior HR Process Specialist, your work will include hands-on responsibility for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving hire-related HR processes, with a strong focus on My Employment Documents (MED). You will act as a process and solution expert for digital employment documentation and play a key role in ensuring stable, high-quality execution of end-to-end hire processes. You will be working with a wide range of HR and business stakeholders in a global environment, balancing operational responsibility with continuous improvement work. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests.  Your work will focus on these responsibilities: <ul><li>Act as a Senior HR process and solution expert for My Employment Documents (MED)</li><li>Ensure correct, consistent, and compliant use of MED across hire and employment-related HR processes</li><li>Support the execution and development of employment contracting, hire actions, and employment changes enabled by MED</li><li>Own and continuously improve hire-related document templates, data inputs, and documentation standards</li><li>Monitor document quality, data completeness, and first-time-right outcomes, driving corrective actions</li><li>Triage and resolve complex cases and escalations related to digital employment documents and data accuracy</li><li>Maintain and improve HR process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and templates</li><li>Partner closely with HR Services, HRIS, and other stakeholders to stabilise MED usage during development and change</li><li>Act as an SME in an end-to-end hire continuous improvement journey, including process mapping, future-state design, workshops, and testing support</li></ul>  To be able to succeed in the position, we expect you to have: <ul><li>Proven experience in HR operations, HR process management, or HR service delivery</li><li>Hands-on experience with digital HR document management solutions and hire-related HR processes</li><li>Experience in leading process improvement initiatives</li><li>Strong understanding of HR data quality, controls, and compliance</li><li>Ability to balance operational (BAU) responsibilities with project-based work</li><li>A structured, collaborative, and solution-oriented way of working</li><li>Experience in a global HR context; exposure to HR transformation or system-enabled process change is an advantage</li><li>Excellent spoken and written English skills</li></ul>  Why you and us? We at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership, and taking responsibility for our work.
