The position involves playing a key role in advancing Xylem water treatment technology capabilities. This position plays a vital role in supporting Xylem’s water treatment projects by providing high-quality mechanical design and engineering deliverables. The role focuses on order engineering activities such as design, submittal preparation, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate, timely, and cost-effective execution of customer projects. If you are excited and passionate, we want to hear from you!Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities: <ul><li>Execute equipment sizing/selection and detailed design for order engineering projects.</li><li>Prepare structural/hydraulic designs, general arrangement and layout</li><li>Review contract specifications/plans.</li><li>Develop 2D/3D CAD models, submittal and fabrication drawings, and manufacturing deliverables.</li><li>Prepare and review engineering submittals for client and internal approvals.</li><li>Provide engineering support across the order cycle, from design through fabrication and delivery.</li><li>Collaborate closely with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure alignment with project requirements.</li><li>Independently manage assigned tasks, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion.</li></ul>Must Have:<ul><li>Strong proficiency in Creo/Inventor with parametric modelling.</li><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD.</li><li>Solid understanding of mechanical system design, application, and manufacturing.</li></ul>Good to Have:   <ul><li>Knowledge of piping/structural design and GD&amp;T.</li><li>Knowledge about UV, aeration and wastewater treatment systems</li><li>Experience with water/wastewater projects and OEM environments.</li><li>Familiarity with engineering submittals, fabrication processes, and shop drawings.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams and regions.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>4-Year bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.</li><li>2–6 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment engineering.</li><li>Exposure to fabrication/manufacturing drawings and submittal processes preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of various water treatment technologies and technological advancements.</li></ul>Xylem offers you an exciting career in an international environment, with a global network of sales companies, suppliers and manufacturers.
