We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design and develop 3D components, assemblies and 2D drawings using Creo for manufacturing</li><li>Participate in design reviews and implement feedback effectively</li><li>Develop BOMs in windchill and design documentation</li><li>Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams to ensure design feasibility and cost optimization</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and internal design practices</li><li>contribute to continuous improvement and value engineering initiatives</li></ul>Must have competencies:<ul><li>Able to design sheet metal assemblies in alignment of industrial designs</li><li>Proficiency in Creo (mandatory) for 3D modelling, assemblies, and detailing</li><li>Good analytical and mechanical design skills</li><li>Good understanding of fits, tolerances and GD&amp;T concepts and their application in engineering drawings</li><li>Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills</li></ul>Good to have competencies:<ul><li>Experience or exposure to pump design / rotating equipment</li><li>Understanding of electric motor</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing processes specially sheet metal</li><li>Awareness of industry standards</li><li>Exposure to design validation and testing processes</li><li>Ability to Python-based design automation and optimization tools will be an added advantage</li></ul>Technical Skills:<ul><li>Knowledge of Creo (part modelling, assemblies, drawing)</li><li>Experience in sheet metal modules within CAD tools</li><li>Familiarity with MS Excel for engineering calculations and data handling</li><li>Familiarity with windchill</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>2-4 Years</li></ul>Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
