We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What you’ll do:<ul><li>Own the integration of the turboshaft into the aircraft </li><li>Manage mechanical interfaces</li><li>Overseeing smooth operation of the turboshaft with its interfaces</li><li>Overseeing correct operation of the turboshaft in its operating environment</li><li>Managing fuel, oil, exhaust, thermal and all other systems integrations</li><li>Define pass criteria and testing conditions for performance verification</li><li>Optimize installation for mass, performance, maintainability and safety</li></ul>What you’ll need:<ul><li>BS / MS / PhD in a related scientific or engineering field.</li><li>8+ years experience in complex systems integration</li><li>Strong fundamentals and demonstrated understanding complex system integration</li><li>Experience with Siemens NX and suite of tools</li><li>A systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate complex, technical rationale to multidisciplinary stakeholders.</li><li>Extremely self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience writing comprehensive technical reports and documents.</li></ul>Nice to have:<ul><li>Experience with Turboshaft system integration</li><li>Experience with turbogenerator design principles</li><li>Experience with MATLAB, Simulink for control logic and numerical propulsion system simulation and performance modelling</li><li>Experience with computational fluid dynamics and analysis</li><li>Prior experience with hybrid-electric aircraft, eVTOLs, or hybrid automotive powertrains.</li><li>Familiarity with FAA or EASA certification </li><li>Knowledge of simulation model validation, model calibration, and uncertainty quantification methods.</li></ul>At Archer, we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent with the skills and leadership needed to grow our business.
