Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.Job Description:*This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned Position Responsibilities and Duties: <ul><li>Electrical System Constructability &amp; Procurement Coordination  </li><li>Assist the Electrical Preconstruction Management team with material take-offs to generate accurate BOMs (Bill of Material) and RFQs (Request for Quote) for electrical components, ensuring project specifications and budgets are met. </li><li>Review contract documents to identify any project requirements (SOLV requirements, owner/contract requirements, and permit requirements) that may have an impact on the project’s electrical design while tracking compliance with such requirements.  </li><li>Coordinate with the Procurement and Electrical Preconstruction Management teams to source and procure required materials in a timely manner while ensuring project materials are delivered to site in alignment with the project schedule.  </li><li>Work with Procurement and Electrical Preconstruction Management teams to understand design constraints and material lead-times to ensure long lead procurement items are released at their appropriate milestones to avoid schedule delays.   </li><li>Prepare, transmit, and track design &amp; material submittals for EEOR &amp; owner review  </li><li>Support the Electrical Preconstruction Management team with preparation and tracking of project-specific electrical material budgets </li><li>Assist with updating Smartsheet trackers to reflect changes to project schedules, status of EPC exhibits, procurement milestones, submittal reviews, and design deliverables </li><li>Coordinate with project field teams to ensure vendor invoices are coded as assigned  </li></ul> Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements: <ul><li>Minimum (2) Years of in-field experience with electrical material and installation practices preferred </li><li>Minimum (2) Year of electrical material take-off experience preferred </li><li>Minimum (1) Year of project coordination and/or project engineer experience preferred </li><li>Proficient in BlueBeam and Microsoft Excel </li><li>Proficient in Smartsheet preferred </li><li>Ability to read and understand electrical plans </li><li>Effective written and verbal communications skills </li><li>Detailed oriented and effective organizational skills </li><li>Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously </li><li>High aptitude for problem solving and critical thinking  </li><li>Strong sense of urgency </li></ul> Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.SOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
