Role Summary:This role will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Mechanical systems during assigned shifts to ensure uninterrupted production, safe operations, and quick resolution of Mechanical Breakdowns.Roles and Responsibility: Operations &amp; Maintenance <ul><li>Operate and monitor Mechanical Systems including Process Equipment, EOT, Pneumatic Conveying System, etc.</li><li>Operate and oversee Mechanical Utility Systems such as HVAC, STP, WTP, RO, Fire Pump Room, Air Compressor System, Cooling Tower etc.</li><li>Ensure smooth operations with continuous observation of system parameters and alarms.</li><li>Maintain optimum load management and implement energy‑efficient practices across utilities.</li><li>Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, Proactive Maintenance and minor repairs</li><li>Maintain proper load management and energy efficiency.</li><li>Maintain the Documents like SOP, Logbook, Test reports, calibration reports, ISO documents Etc.</li><li>Maintain AMC contracts for equipment and ensure availability of critical spares.</li><li>Ensure adherence to OEM recommendations and statutory guidelines during maintenance.</li></ul>Breakdown &amp; Trouble Shooting <ul><li>Attend all mechanical breakdowns promptly and restore operations with minimum downtime.</li><li>Perform systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for repeated failures.</li><li>Coordinate with OEMs and external vendors for major mechanical issues, repairs, or replacements.</li></ul>Safety &amp; Compliance <ul><li>Follow all statutory safety norms and mechanical safety procedures.</li><li>Ensure strict usage of PPE and adherence to LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures during maintenance.</li><li>Ensure compliance with:</li></ul>         IS Standards         FM Global Requirements         Statutory Regulations – PESO, Inspector of Factories, Lift license, Emission reports, water reports etc         Site Safety Rules<ul><li>  Report on unsafe conditions, near‑misses, and incidents immediately as part of the safety culture</li></ul>Documentation &amp; Reporting <ul><li>Maintain shift logbooks and daily mechanical checklists</li><li>Record breakdown details, maintenance activities, and meter readings like water consumption, chemical    consumption, Etc</li><li>Update preventive maintenance records and work permits</li><li>Handover shift activities clearly to the next shift</li></ul>Coordination &amp; Support <ul><li>Coordinate with Electrical, IT and BMS teams</li><li>Support project execution, shutdown activities, and audits</li><li>Assist in testing, commissioning, and energization of new installations</li></ul>Requirement:<ul><li>Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (capable of handling utilities &amp; process equipment).</li><li>4-6 Years in relevant field of experience.</li><li>Female candidates are preferred first. </li><li>Knowledge of Mechanical drawing like P&amp;ID, plant Mechanical systems &amp; Isometric drawing.</li><li>Hands-on experience in fault finding and safe isolation procedures</li><li>Good communication and coordination skills</li><li>Safety mindset</li></ul>
