Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.We are currently seeking an Office Assistant to manage daily tasks, welcome visitors, and ensure smooth project flow. The role includes identifying opportunities for efficiency, assisting in HR tasks, promoting a positive office culture, and handling payroll. OAs play a crucial role in our business operations.Duties/Responsibilities:Answers phone calls and emails.Engage and promote both interoffice and cross-departmental communicationsAssists Operations and Assistant Operations Manager(s), Project coordinators, Sales, warehouse, etcAssist in updating dashboard (OM notes)Supports field employees by contacting corporate resources for issue resolutionReviews employee timesheets, enters payroll into the corporate system, and according to Payroll processing deadlinesSupports internal office processes and company policiesGathers correspondences and delivers as necessary (mail, deliveries, pick up, etc)Creates and updates all office spreadsheets and/or documents as related to business and as assigned by SupervisorsAssists in planning and organizing site events/activitiesRecognizes issues requiring action and takes initiative to resolve/report while working with minimal supervision.Stays current with professional and industrial best practicesOccasional travel in personal vehiclePerforms other related duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Proficient with ION technology, such as Paycom, FieldPro, and smartphones or related software.Ability to type at least 45 words per minute.Education and Experience:A high school diploma or equivalent is requiredPrevious experience in an office environment is preferred.Solar Experience is a plusPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.Compensation/Benefits:Competitive wagesHealth/Vision/Dental Insurance401KPaid time off and paid holidaysPaid birthday offION Solar is an equal opportunity employer.
