As an initial step, Solugen is building its first commercial plant with a capacity of 10,000 tpy, with the potential to offset up to 37,000 tpy of carbon dioxide equivalents.The Financial Accounting &amp; Reporting Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation, accuracy, and timely delivery of financial statements and reports. This role ensures compliance with GAAP, manages the month-end close process, and supports internal and external reporting requirements. The position partners closely with senior leadership, auditors, and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and maintain strong internal controls.Key Responsibilities•	Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process •	Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, statement of equity) •	Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements •	Oversee cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory review •	Ensure proper accounting for fixed assets, depreciation, and capital projects •	Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies •	Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors •	Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies •	Analyze financial results and provide variance analysis and insights •	Collaborate with multiple departments within the Company •	Drive process improvements and automation initiatives •	Supervise accounting staff Qualifications•	Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred) •	5–8+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience (preference in chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial sectors)•	Strong knowledge of GAAP •	Experience with NetSuite ERP system•	Advanced Excel skills •	Experience managing audits and financial reporting cycles Skills &amp; Competencies•	Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •	Attention to detail and high level of accuracy •	Leadership and team management abilities •	Excellent communication and presentation skills •	Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities Preferred Qualifications•	Public accounting background (Big 4 or similar) •	Experience in a publicly traded company •	Familiarity with internal controls/SOX•	Compliance Work Environment•	Hybrid or office-based depending on company •	Fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentSolugen is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
