The ideal candidate is highly skilled in CNC machining and passionate about continuous process improvement, with a collaborative mindset that enables effective work across engineering, operations, and quality teams. You are proactive in identifying issues and driving solutions to improve yield and efficiency, bring a hands-on and detail-oriented approach to complex fabrication challenges, and communicate clearly while working effectively as part of a team.</p><p>You will work onsite at our Devens, MA office, reporting to the Manager, Manufacturing Engineering.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">Promote a safety-first culture by adhering to EH2 policies and supporting colleagues in maintaining a safe work environment</li><li style="line-height:2;">Collaborate cross-functionally with design engineers, process engineers, machinists, quality inspectors, and operations to improve machining processes</li><li style="line-height:2;">Generate and manage CAM programs using Mastercam or similar software</li><li style="line-height:2;">Improve first-pass yield by incorporating inspection feedback into program and process updates</li><li style="line-height:2;">Develop rework and repair processes to recover MRB stock and enable material release</li><li style="line-height:2;">Support implementation and refinement of vacuum workholding systems and related fixturing</li><li style="line-height:2;">Contribute to development of next-generation fabrication techniques for metal parts</li><li style="line-height:2;">Assist with custom tooling design, testing, validation, and production implementation</li><li style="line-height:2;">Support R&amp;D engineering efforts related to cell and electrolyzer design development</li><li style="line-height:2;">Participate in new machine selection and manufacturing line expansion planning</li><li style="line-height:2;">Communicate progress and updates on development initiatives to cross-functional teams</li><li style="line-height:2;">Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation and logs</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li style="line-height:2;">Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment</li><li style="line-height:2;">5+ years of CNC machining experience</li><li style="line-height:2;">Proficient in setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes for complex parts with minimal supervision</li><li style="line-height:2;">Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam)</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience developing and improving machining processes or designs</li><li style="line-height:2;">Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and communicate requirements clearly</li><li style="line-height:2;">Capable of lifting 40+ lbs and performing physical tasks such as pushing, reaching, kneeling, or crawling</li><li style="line-height:2;">Experience monitoring machinery for maintenance and safety needs</li><li style="line-height:2;">Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer use</li><li style="line-height:2;">Strong team player with a positive and effective communication style</li></ul><p>#LI-Onsite</p><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong> | S3</p><div><div><div>MA Zone</div><div><span>$33.15</span><span>—</span><span>$44.85 USD</span></div></div></div><div><p>Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​</p><p>Base salary is just one part of Electric Hydrogen’s total rewards package.
