We’re a fast-growing, global company building the world’s best clean energy products to electrify all homes and connect communities to form clean, resilient virtual power plants.On a given day at Lunar, you’ll likely…<ul><li>Participate in designing new features, develop test cases.</li><li>Put together new hardware and firmware for the first time, instrument setups and perform manual tests and capture results.</li><li>Solve integration problems and create automated system-level regression tests.</li><li>Review firmware code and highlight limitations and add test cases and propose fixes.</li><li>Work side by side with your counterparts in EE, ME, FW, and Systems to release high-quality features with extensive regression testing.</li><li>Ensure the system meets its requirements and this behavior is robust across all corner cases</li><li>Work with team in root causing issues and perform tests to exercise limits</li><li>Define and implement hardware in the loop testing</li><li>Evaluate new tools and equipments to ease and improve testing.</li></ul>Desired Skills:<ul><li>Windows, Mac and Linux platform experience</li><li>Strong skills in Python related to scripts, control of devices etc.</li><li>Good understanding of C programming language in the interests of understanding device functionality.</li><li>At least a minimum understanding of CI/CD pipeline and data analysis tools (Jenkins, AWS, Grafana)</li><li>Ability to make things work, and a drive to break them</li><li>Demonstrated excellence in debugging complicated system-level behavior at the crossroads of electrical engineering and firmware</li><li>Outstanding written and verbal communication and the ability to smoothly work cross-functionally</li><li>A strong sense of ownership and responsibility towards delivering a great product.</li><li>Fluent in scripting/automation using Python</li><li>Experience with hardware in the loop testing</li><li>Able to read electrical schematics and device/component datasheets.</li><li>Experience with BMS, batteries, and power electronics desired</li><li>Experience with CAN, Wifi, Ethernet communications desired</li><li>BS in CS, EE, or equivalent</li></ul>Benefits:We’re dedicated to creating a remarkable employee experience.
