If you’re passionate about innovation, collaboration, and making an impact, this is your opportunity to thrive.Why Join Us?At Canplas, you’ll work alongside a diverse team of professionals—people-centric thinkers, innovators, and status quo challengers—who share a commitment to excellence and growth.What You’ll DoSales Execution &amp; Market Development<ul><li>Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed territory sales objectives across Canplas’ product offerings.</li><li>Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and market analysis.</li><li>Maintain and grow relationships with distributors, leveraging insights into market dynamics and competitive activity.</li><li>Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to promote Canplas solutions and secure customer sales.</li></ul>Customer Intimacy &amp; Relationship Management<ul><li>Build and nurture long‑term customer relationships by understanding business drivers, challenges, and goals.</li><li>Engage in consistent, meaningful communication to provide personalized product recommendations and technical support.</li><li>Evaluate customer satisfaction post‑delivery and proactively address concerns to strengthen trust and loyalty.</li><li>Act as a strategic partner, offering insights and solutions aligned with evolving customer needs.</li></ul>Technical Expertise &amp; Education<ul><li>Serve as a technical resource, guiding customers on product selection, application, and installation across industries.</li><li>Deliver customized presentations and product demonstrations to educate stakeholders and support informed decisions.</li><li>Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and end users to ensure optimal product performance and application.</li></ul>Sales Operations &amp; Administration<ul><li>Prepare and follow up on quotations, orders, and proposals with accuracy and professionalism.</li><li>Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence to support forecasting and strategic planning.</li><li>Liaise with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Technical Support to ensure seamless execution and communication.</li></ul>Promotional Activities<ul><li>Represent Canplas at trade shows, industry events, and promotional programs to increase brand visibility and generate leads.</li><li>Support marketing initiatives by providing field insights and participating in campaign execution.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of sales experience in a related industry (distribution or contracting preferred).</li><li>Engineering background is an asset.</li><li>Experience in a similar industry is an asset.</li><li>Strong understanding of distribution networks and product applications across various sectors.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint); CRM and ERP/SAP experience is an asset.</li><li>Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.</li><li>Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.</li><li>Ability to build and maintain customer intimacy through responsiveness and tailored service.</li><li>Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment.</li><li>Demonstrates initiative and a results‑oriented mindset.</li><li>Solid understanding of Canplas product applications and customer segments.</li><li>Awareness of market dynamics and competitive positioning.</li><li>Commitment to continuous learning and deepening product/industry knowledge.</li><li>Capable of handling standard negotiations and closing sales with distributors and contractors.</li><li>Supports pricing discussions and manages objections professionally.</li><li>Maintains accurate records and uses CRM tools to track opportunities.</li><li>Organizes sales activities to support territory growth and account development.</li><li>Strong time‑management and organizational skills.</li><li>Adaptable and resilient in changing environments.</li><li>Builds trust with clients through regular engagement and follow‑up.</li><li>Works effectively with internal teams such as Customer Service and Marketing.</li><li>Maintains professionalism and ethical judgment in all interactions.</li></ul>Canplas Industries Ltd. is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, we will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
