The Role We have a great opportunity for a finance professional to join our growing Finance Team. Reporting to the CFO, this is a great role for someone who would like to remain hands on day to day but also play a strategic role in ensuring the company continues to grow year on year.  You will be qualified and bring some previous experience in a SME context. Key responsibilities: <ul><li>Overall management of accounting operations for US entity.  </li><li>Consolidation of financials for group P&amp;L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow – reporting to Shareholders 45 days post quarter end. </li><li>Management of payroll, expenses, cash book, purchase ledger, sales ledger and tax </li><li>Provide weekly TWCF forecasts. </li><li>Oversee the management of cash flow and debt collection. </li><li>Oversee management of procurement processes. </li><li>Oversee the customer invoicing processes.  </li><li>Develop and work with our outsourced shared service centre to improve efficiencies.   </li><li>Management of compliance processes &amp; procedures </li><li>Work closely with the CFO and the wider Finance Team on special projects including scale up and development of the ERP / MRP / Reporting systems.  </li><li>Act as key contact for our service providers. </li><li>Supervision and management of direct reports   </li></ul>Ideally, you’ll have/be:  <ul><li>Qualified CPA.  </li><li>Experience SME and Corporate environments – fast moving, within engineering, software or professional service sectors. </li><li>Excellent doer who can make things happen; with strong attention to detail </li><li>Stakeholder management and communication skills </li><li>Expert user of Excel; experienced user of MS Suite applications </li><li>Resilient and tenacious; comfortable working to deadlines </li><li>Previous experience of managing a small team would also be beneficial for this role </li></ul>About ONYX  ONYX Insight is a growing technology and engineering organisation in the renewable energy sector.
