This role provides hands-on, day-to-day technical support while ensuring the stability, security, and compliance of the site’s IT infrastructure. The position works closely with corporate IT teams to implement, operate, and maintain server, storage, network, client, and communications infrastructure in accordance with ITAR, SOX, and corporate security standards.This is a highly autonomous role requiring deep technical experience, strong operational discipline, and comfort operating in a regulated manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-User &amp; Site Support<ul><li>Provide day-to-day technical support for employees, including desktops, laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and approved software applications</li><li>Perform break-fix troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution for hardware, software, and network issues</li><li>Manage device refresh cycles (PCs, laptops, monitors, peripherals) including imaging, deployment, and decommissioning</li><li>Support manufacturing-adjacent users while adhering to ITAR and facility access controls</li></ul>Infrastructure &amp; Systems Administration<ul><li>Operate and maintain on-site and hybrid infrastructure including servers (physical and virtual), storage, networking, and backup systems</li><li>Support Active Directory, identity services, file services, and print services</li><li>Participate in server, network, and endpoint patching activities in alignment with corporate schedules and security requirements</li></ul>Security, Compliance &amp; Controls<ul><li>Participate in SOX IT General Controls (ITGC) activities, including:</li><li>Ensure endpoint protection, vulnerability remediation, and security tooling are properly deployed and functioning</li><li>Coordinate with corporate security and compliance teams during audits, assessments, and control testing</li></ul>Collaboration &amp; Corporate Alignment<ul><li>Work closely with centralized corporate IT teams (network, server, security, applications) to implement standards and projects locally</li><li>Act as the on-site execution point for corporate initiatives, upgrades, and remediation efforts</li><li>Provide accurate documentation, asset tracking, and configuration information as required</li></ul>Operational Excellence<ul><li>Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, and licensed assets</li><li>Follow documented IT service, change, and incident processes</li><li>Identify risks, technical debt, and improvement opportunities; proactively raise concerns with IT leadership</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Ability to work independently as the senior on-site IT resource</li><li>8+ years of progressive IT support and systems administration experience, ideally in a manufacturing or regulated environment</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with:<ul><li>Windows desktop and server environments</li><li>Active Directory and Group Policy</li><li>Network fundamentals (switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP)</li><li>Endpoint lifecycle management and patching</li></ul></li><li>Daily operational experience working within ServiceNow or similar, including incident, request, and change workflows in an enterprise environment</li><li>Hands‑on experience using PDQ (Deploy and/or Inventory) or comparable tools for endpoint software deployment, patching, and inventory management</li><li>US Citizenship Required</li><li>Ability to obtain a BATFE Possessor Permit after start date</li></ul>Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications<ul><li>Associate's degree in a related field or higher</li><li>Experience configuring, supporting, or optimizing AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot</li><li>Linux systems administration experience</li><li>Exposure to manufacturing systems or OT-adjacent environments (without directly administering OT)</li><li>Prior experience supporting ITAR or other export-controlled environments</li></ul>**US Citizenship is required for this position.
