Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a well-rounded understanding of HVAC systems, including mini-splits, air handlers, and heat pumps.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive reliable and efficient HVAC solutions as part of their energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including mini-splits, air handlers, and heat pumps.
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the solar installation team to integrate HVAC systems into renewable energy projects when necessary.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals for proper system installation and maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system operations and addressing client concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- EPA Certification (required).
- 2–3 years of experience in HVAC installation and service.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including mini-splits, air handlers, and heat pumps.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail.

$40+ hourly wage + 1.5x for overtime!

The management team has over 8 years of experience in the solar industry, with over 400 residential installations managed around the country. Team Sunshine is primarily focused on the Northeast states, but can manage installations almost anywhere in the country with their network of contractors and partners.</p>
