Senior Business Analyst - 2 Year FTC

Reporting to the Head of Risk Transformation, you will lead the analysis and implementation of risk transformation requirements, using SmartestEnergy’s technology. You’ll develop strategies, gather and document user requirements, and implement solutions to meet transformation goals. Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll prioritize requirements, ensure readiness for process changes and new platforms, and provide training and support to the Risk group.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

• Substantial experience in the energy sector with experience in producing functional analyses for Trading Operations;
• Demonstrable experience in a similar Business Analyst role with direct exposure to ETRM processes;
• Applied technical understanding of new data centric solutions based on Power BI, Python, Azure and SQL;
• Experience sharing ideas and best practice to Risk policies, framework and reporting metrics;
• ETRM expertise, preferably based on Allegro, with an applied understanding of deal lifecycle and risk management processes.

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
