Responsibilities:
Supports the promotion and sales a portfolio of products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new customers
Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices
Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
Has structured direct contact with clients and limited authority for negotiation
Has general knowledge of assigned products and services
Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
Continues to build knowledge of business, financials, products/services, the market or account needs
Works with moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, sales or account management processes
Has direct contact with clients and moderate authority/opportunity to set and negotiate product/service terms
Is beginning to plan own territory or account approach and monitor resources
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree and plus 5-7 years of experience in the rotating industry.
Experience in selling MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) solutions, especially technical selling skills.
Must have motivational skills and managerial skills and a high sense of urgency to recognize equipment, process and industry opportunities in the market (develop networks)
Good performer in taking ideas to full market launch.
Interpersonal skills are critical for optimum communication with customers as well as internal EagleBurgmann.
Able to organize and prioritize work assignments.
Must have strong work ethics.
Must be able to work in a team, and to lead teams to ensure successful program implementation.
Good written and verbal reporting skills. Excellent computer application skills in MS Office products.
Travel required 50% or exceeding.
