Import Compliance Specialist

The Import Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all imports comply with international trade regulations. This role requires monitoring and navigating complex regulations regarding customs clearance, import and export licenses, trade agreements, and embargoes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of import regulations and procedures, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities / Tasks

Your Profile / Qualifications

• University, bachelor’s in International Trade, customs brokers license or 5 plus years trade compliance
• Experience with international trade regulations.
• Certification in import/export compliance
• Knowledge of Incoterms, HTS codes, and tariffs
• English (fluent)
• Ability to network and build relationships  
• Deep understanding of business on a broad international footprint    
• Very good analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and ability to think strategically       
• Takes ownership of the work, successes, and mistakes    
• Very good communication skills
