Job Title: Channel Sales Manager – Grid Solutions
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
The Opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as our Channel Sales Manager – Grid Solutions and be at the forefront of shaping the future of the US Electric Grid. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive sales strategies, nurture key relationships, and support our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and distribution channels. You’ll work alongside industry leaders to deliver cutting-edge solutions, ensuring the reliability and advancement of our energy infrastructure. How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed goals within OEM and distribution channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients and OEMs, delivering tailored solutions.
- Provide technical insights, product training, and exceptional support to channel partners.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for channel growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product and service delivery.
- Drive innovation by identifying client needs and aligning them with product advancements.
- Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events, showcasing our expertise and building networks.
Your Background
- 2–3 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in utilities or OEMs.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of the US Electric Grid and its components is a big advantage.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to influence and drive success.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and solutions in the energy sector.
