Your contribution:
As Manager BRM, you will ensure IT strategy is in harmony with the EMEA regional strategy and objectives and serve as the Executive Business Relationship Manager for the IT Leadership Team to the EMEA Executive Team.
You will act as the Communication and Engagement Manager for Germany-based employees; you will be responsible for engagement and communication with the local IT community and responsible for IT relationship management with the local HR team; you will manage localized tasks related to employee engagement; last but not least you will be responsible for compliance with localized company policy and procedures.
The role will be based in our EMEA HQ Office in Hannover, Germany and will report to Director IT EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
Coaching Leadership: Foster a coaching culture within the BRM team to expand the skills and knowledge of team members. Focus on upskilling the team in "Ways of Working" methods of design thinking.
Trusted Technology Advisor: Establish the BRM as a central trusted technology advisor for the EMEA leadership team. Support management in decision-making by providing information system alternatives and advising on the impact of short-term decisions versus long-term objectives.
Digital Catalysts: Promote the role of the BRM as digital catalysts in the region to drive digital transformation and implement innovative solutions.
Digital Academy: Develop and provide continuous learning and development opportunities for the BRM team and other stakeholders. Focus on digital skills, emerging technologies, and best practices.
Change Agent: Act as a change agent to drive organizational change and transformation initiatives. Facilitate the adoption of new technologies, processes, and ways of working.
Art of the Possible: Inspire and motivate the team and stakeholders by showcasing the "Art of the Possible" with technology. Demonstrate how innovative solutions can address business challenges and create new opportunities.
Duties:
Business Management: Work closely with business users to understand processes and strategies. Assist in the development of business cases to prioritize and drive IT initiatives. Establish a communication channel with the business to provide regular updates on status and steering committee updates.
Program Management: Plan and manage the application portfolio within EMEA in close collaboration with regional and global IT organizations. Assist with the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities.
Team Management: Work closely with regional IT leaders to ensure that EMEA goals are clearly defined and aligned. Assist in hiring staff to support regional and global priorities. Conduct interviews, individual performance and development planning, performance reviews, and other supervisory interactions.
Education and Professional Knowledge:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Information Technology (Master's Degree or MBA preferred).
Experience: Solid years (15+) of experience in managing groups, projects, and strategic planning.
Languages: Fluency in English and German required; other European languages are a plus.
Travel: Willingness to travel as required to support job responsibilities.
