Business Operations Coordinator

SiTration is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to join our team and support day-to-day business operations on-site in Watertown, MA. 

SiTration is a rapidly-growing team of creative, passionate, and deeply-technical scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs working to develop a low-cost, sustainable approach for harvesting critical minerals for an electrified future. At the core of SiTration’s approach is a patented silicon filtration and extraction technology developed at MIT. This novel solution aims to transition resource-intensive chemical and thermal separations to an ultra-efficient electrified approach.

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage office and facilities duties, including supplies ordering, deliveries and visitor management, maintenance and services coordination and other facilities tasks as needed

• Support marketing activities including social media posts, website management, and other activities as needed 

• Support financial and accounting activities, including quarterly reporting, annual carbon accounting, expense reporting, budgeting, and other activities as needed

• Support HR activities including hiring, onboarding, time tracking, and compliance activities

• Plan and coordinate team events and activities

• Produce and maintain business operations reference documents, SOPs, and other collateral

• Support scheduling, calendar management, and travel planning for the leadership team as time permits

• Perform special projects and other related duties as needed

Desired experience and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience in business operations, office management or a similar role

• Strong written communication and attention to detail 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace 

• Ability to work on-site at our Watertown office, Monday-Friday during normal business hours

• Ability to execute effectively with limited guidance and in ambiguous situations

• Excited to work in a startup environment with accelerated career progression
