About the Job
We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician for our Powertrain department. This position requires an experienced professional with relevant experience in Powertrain Department. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Day to day coverage of production line, including rapid response of out-of-control processes.
- Investigate and identify defects using test data.
- Support implementation of process changes to improve process and product yield.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment and ensure quality.
- Troubleshoot and implement process improvements for laser cleaning, wedge tool wear, torque, dispense, etc.
- Provide inputs for process enhancements and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Data collection and analysis for process control and quality assurance.
- Support program adjustments based on data analysis.
You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within automotive or manufacturing.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills for resolving equipment issues, tool wear, or process inefficiencies.
- Ability to review programs, make adjustments, and provide inputs for process enhancements.
- Skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Detail oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to measurement devices such as multimeters, calipers, microscope, etc.
- Availability for occasional off-hours calls.
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projects.
- Experience creating tables and charts for data analysis
