Who we are...
We’re a biotechnology innovator repairing our planet through infinite recycling. We’re taking the 10 billion tonnes of plastics and textiles wasting away in landfill and our environment, and recycling it, infinitely to create a truly circular loop for packaging, clothing, airbags and everything in between.
It means brands can make the products we all know and love without the environmental damage. Because by using what we already have, we can end the world’s reliance on dirty fossil fuels to slow climate change and ensure we have a livable planet for future generations.
The Role...
To bring clarity, confidence, and commercial insight to our financial decision-making. You’ll help us plan for growth, assess opportunities, and build strong business cases—while integrating sustainability and life cycle thinking into the way we model impact and value.
We are open to flexibility in terms of hours - you could be looking for 4 days per week with some flexibility when workload moves up and down.
Key Responsibilities...
Financial Modelling...
- Maintain and enhance financial models for forecasting and long-term planning
- Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risks and outcomes
- Ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals
- Continuously improve modelling tools and techniques
Business Case Preparation...
- Develop business cases for new initiatives and investments
- Gather data and assumptions with cross-functional teams
- Conduct ROI, IRR, and payback analysis
- Support internal approvals and fundraising activities
- Prepare concise financial summaries for senior audiences
Investment Analysis...
- Evaluate corporate financing options (equity, debt, partnerships)
- Perform risk assessments and due diligence as needed
Cross-Functional Collaboration...
- Partner across departments to support financial planning and performance
- Support Finance team with modelling expertise and ad-hoc tasks
- Advise teams on financial implications of decisions
- Lead monthly techno-economic updates with Tech and Science
Sustainability & Carbon Impact...
- Embed carbon data into product decisions with Tech, Science, and Commercial
- Assess trade-offs to align with climate goals
- Lead monthly carbon impact updates for R&D products
- Collaborate with external partners and customers on carbon measurement
Tools & Continuous Improvement...
- Champion process improvements and automation
- Be the Excel expert and help scale our financial toolset
You’ll bring...
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA or CPA preferred
- 4+ years’ experience in FP&A, business analysis, or corporate finance
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; familiarity with ERP systems (we use Xero) and reporting tools (especially Power Query)
- Sharp analytical thinking with a knack for simplifying complexity
- Strong communicator—able to engage both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Interest or experience in sustainability, carbon accounting, or lifecycle assessments
- Collaborative, curious, and aligned with our climate mission
- Bonus: Experience supporting major capital or construction projects—especially first-of-kind facilities
