Lead the sales efforts of CLP with the support of inside and outside sales teams.
Responsibilities
-
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 8 Regional Sales Managers.
- Analyze territory trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to create and implement winning strategies.
- Collaborate and plan with all other departments to ensure customer related issues are addressed along with pushing our overall sales execution plans.
- Collaborate with leadership to align sales strategy with broader business goals and long-term vision.
- Identify market opportunities and challenge the status quo—constantly asking, “What’s next?” and “How can we win?”
- Use performance metrics, forecasting tools, and analytics to make informed decisions and deploy effective sales strategies.
- Operate with the mindset of a future Sales Manager—demonstrating vision, agility, and sound judgment in all areas of leadership.
- Negotiate & manage sales contracts.
- Regular travel is required to service customers and attend industry events.
Qualifications
Required
-
- 5+ years of progressive sales experience.
- A track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to turn data into action and strategy into execution.
- High energy, self-starter, well-organized, and dedicated to continuous improvement
- 4-year College degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Experience with Salesforce.com CRM
Preferred

- Prior experience in building materials
- Leadership experience
- MBA or advanced leadership training is a plus.

<p>OmniSource, LLC is a multifaceted metals-recycling company—one of North America’s largest processors and distributors of scrap and secondary metals. We collect, process, and resell a wide variety of scrap metal. Through recent expansions and acquisitions, we can now process 7 million tons of ferrous scrap per year and more than 1 billion pounds of nonferrous metals. We currently operate more than 70 collection and processing facilities, including 11 high-capacity shredders as well as other metals processing facilities, and employ about 2,500 people. Our primary collection and processing facilities are in the Midwest, the Southeast, and the mid-Atlantic regions of the United States.
