The Senior Product Manager – Solar Plant Automation will be based in Fremont, California. As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for evaluation, development, and execution of programs supporting products that solve customer problems and reduce the cost of solar power. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, analyzing business value for new products, writing product requirements, driving product innovation, and collaborating across the company to deliver successful products. You will be a key driver in shaping the product roadmap, ensuring product quality, and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Analyze market trends and understand customer pain points to craft a viewpoint on requirements for new products.
  • Create and maintain clear product roadmaps that show how we will deliver products to meet customer needs, align with business strategy, and fit within organizational constraints.
  • Lead product development from conceptualization to launch. Identify and evaluate potential improvements, define product requirements, and collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and other teams to deliver great products on time.
  • Align team efforts across the company including sales, engineering, supply chain, and project services.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and product positioning to drive successful product launches.  

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. MBA or advanced degree in engineering is a plus.
  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in a senior capacity
  • 3+ years of experience with solar plant construction, operations, and maintenance
  • 3+ experience with mechanized equipment, field instrumentation, robotics, or other electromechanical systems is a plus
  • A track record of successfully launching complex products
  • Experience doing financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Ability to write clear and measurable product requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Range (Applicable to California)

$180,000.00 - $200,000.00 dependent on level of experience
