About Redwood Materials

Redwood Materials was founded in 2017 to create a circular supply chain for electric vehicles and clean energy products, making them more sustainable and driving down the cost for batteries. We’re doing this by developing and deploying new technologies to increase the scope and scale of recycled and sustainable materials in the global battery supply chain.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new systems and processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of production systems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare and present reports on process improvements and operational performance.

Desired qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, industrial, systems, etc).
  • 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience: demonstrated capability and successful implementation of improvement projects.
  • Prior experience developing business cases (examples: automation, operating plan changes, equipment selection, etc).
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Background in operations research (examples: linear programming, discrete event simulation, etc). Proficiency is a plus.
  • Prior experience with industrial scale processes and equipment.
