Of course, this won't happen overnight. It needs talented people like you. As an intern (m/f/d) in our DSP team, you will support the AMSilk Downstream team by planning, carrying out and evaluating experiments for the development of protein purification processes. Your responsibility and impact within AMSilk company means to:
  • Execute, evaluate and validate protein purification process steps  
  • Prepare samples for analytical measurements
  • Screen process parameters at lab-scale
  • Be in charge of documentation of lab work, experimental procedures, results and evaluations  
  • Do standard lab-maintenance (recovery of used equipment and utensils, preparation of chemical stocks, etc.)
Your areas of knowledge and expertise are:
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelors or masters programme in the field of biotechnology, biochemistry, bioengineering, process engineering, biology, chemistry, chemical engineering or a comparable field  
  • Profound theoretical knowledge of diverse downstream techniques and practical lab-experience
  • Strong interest in protein purification on a larger scale, including working with larger process equipment (at lab-scale)
  • Willingness to work in the Munich area (no remote activities) 
  • Work experience in the field of industrial biotechnology is a plus 
  • Fluent in German or English, with at least basic German language skills required (B1 or higher)
