About the Job

Join Us in Shaping a Greener Future!

Resourcify is the all-in-one waste management and recycling platform.

At Resourcify, we’re on an exciting mission to make waste a thing of the past. Our goal? To simplify and improve waste management by creating the most useful and insightful data in the industry. Using smart technology, we help businesses streamline their processes, connect with key players, and achieve their sustainability goals—all while making a zero-waste future possible.

Our award-winning platform gives businesses the tools they need to manage, track, and improve their recycling efforts. Big names like McDonald’s, Johnson & Johnson, Rolls-Royce, and OBI trust Resourcify to transform how they handle waste—and we’re proud to be driving this change.

With €14 million in Series A funding, we’re growing fast and gearing up for our next big chapter. We’re expanding our platform, increasing our impact, and working hard to lead Europe’s transition to a circular economy.

Resourcify is seeking a (Senior) Product Designer who will help us take a game-changing product to the next level. As a product designer, you will create experiences that enable companies to take back their waste and become more circular in the most intuitive, user friendly way.

This role requires a strong user-research, analysis and wireframing experience, as we are dealing with a very diverse set of user needs. As our key UX/UI expert, you will play a critical role in shaping our product and UX function.

Your mission:

  • You plan for infrastructure growth, ensuring our systems are ready to meet the demands of a growing customer base and an expanding engineering team
  • You work closely with our Core platform and data/insights teams, to create a great user experience that both covers the needs of existing customers and engages new customers and markets.
  • You help us refine our understanding of user personas, their needs and key jobs in the waste management space.
  • You are a key part in our research efforts and build up Research paths with our growing customer base.
  • You own the design process for your work from kick-off to delivery and educate non-designers along the way.

    What we value in you:

    • You have 4+ years of product design experience, and you are willing to put in the work and learn and keep growing fast.
    • Fluency in a state-of-the-art design tool – we’re using Figma.
    • You have a proven track record of running user research, building prototypes and validating your work.
    • You are able to cherry-pick from your broad experience and focus on the parts of the product development process where you can contribute best.
    • You are comfortable working with uncertainty and ambiguity and able to turn it into clarity.
    • You can demonstrate your experience working on B2B software with a narrow target audience, either in a UX portfolio, case study or in a short video walkthrough.
    • Your portfolio is more than just pretty pictures: You prioritize user needs, simplicity, flows and have reasoning and data to back your design decisions.
    • You are fluent in written and spoken English. Strong command of the German language is a plus as our customer base is mainly German.
    • It’s also great if you have:
    • Experience setting up ResearchOps and building research processes.
    • Experience working with a design system.
    • Know-how in the waste, circularity or industrial design field.
    • Know-how in service design.

How we appreciate and empower Resourcians:

    • We offer you a great working environment: Be part of a fast growing company with fantastic team members.
    • We love flexible working: Your times are flexible as you’ll be measured by your success, not by the number of hours you clock in.
    • We provide you with extra time to recharge: With our flexible vacacion policy you’ll have 30+ days of vacation to refuel your batteries and enjoy your life besides work. Not enough? You are more than welcome to take more days!
    • We are a remote first company and convinced that we can do excellent work from (almost) anywhere: You have the option to work from our central, beautifully equipped offices in Hamburg, Berlin and Munich or fully remote within Germany. At the moment we can also offer permanent employment in Austria.
    • We love a Workation! You can enjoy temporary remote work for up to 3 months provided that you have access to high speed Internet.
    • We thoroughly enjoy each others’ company: Once a year we come together for an exciting company offsite to have fun and foster relationships. In addition, we also plan team events on a smaller scale.
    • We provide you with high quality, technical equipment (Laptop) and an additional Home-Office Budget to transform your home into the most enjoyable place to work.

We celebrate our differences and welcome people from all walks of life:

At Resourcify, we’re proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We believe diversity fuels innovation and strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. Unique perspectives and experiences help us better understand our customers and drive new ideas.

Think this role might be a fit, even if you don’t check every box? We’d love to hear from you—your unique skills might be exactly what we need!
