About the Job
- Support, develop, and implement EHS management programs that align with business operations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts across areas such as job hazard assessments, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, fall protection, respiratory protection, ergonomics, emergency planning, and more.
- Promote EHS awareness across all levels of the organization, building a culture of ownership and accountability.
- Identify and recommend changes in policies, procedures, and equipment to reduce risk and prevent workplace incidents or illness.
- Set performance goals for EHS and monitor progress to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage incident investigations by identifying root causes and ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented.
- Conduct and lead formal EHS inspections and audits across the campus; support or lead external audits when needed.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards and best practices.
- Manage industrial and hazardous waste programs, including waste classification, inspections, disposal, and recordkeeping.
- Deliver engaging EHS education and training programs.
- Collaborate with local administration, facilities, and lab managers on EHS initiatives and day-to-day coordination.
- Respond effectively to any non-compliance events, environmental releases, or work-related injuries.
- Contribute actively to ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives and sustainability goals.
- A bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in EHS or a related field.
- Experience supporting EHS programs in the semiconductor or a similar technical/manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of global and local EHS regulations and experience in applying them across multiple sites.
- EHS-related certifications, licenses, or membership in professional associations are a plus.
- A strong track record of building engagement and driving EHS initiatives in complex, fast-paced settings.
