Since its founding in 1971, ERM has focused exclusively on projects related to environmental issues, social challenges, and sustainability, earning high recognition. Multiple research institutions recognize ERM as a leader in this field.

We provide services that cater to diverse client needs, ranging from advisory work—such as decarbonization strategies, climate change measures, and sustainability strategy development—to specialized assessments, including environmental and social impact evaluations, soil and groundwater contamination remediation, and environmental due diligence.

Given the increasing demand for labor safety consulting, we are currently recruiting EHS consultants. -Manage and report incidents and near misses

-Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements at worksites

-Perform EHS audits and foster a strong safety culture

-Provide feedback regarding environmental, health, and safety conditions at project sites

As employees gain experience and improve their skills, they will have the opportunity to take on larger-scale projects. Many of our employees start without prior consulting experience, making it an ideal environment for long-term career development.

*Qualifications

Required (MUST)

-At least three years of experience in environmental, health, and safety fields

-Experience in one or more of the following:

1.Providing EHS-related services or conducting EHS audits in certification or consulting industries

-Native-level Japanese proficiency (for communication and documentation with clients)

-Sufficient English proficiency to perform tasks without issue (some meetings with clients may be conducted in English)

-Strong documentation skills (ability to prepare and present client proposals)

-Practical experience in one or more of the following workplace safety fields:

-Hazard prediction activities (KY activities)

-Incident management

-Preparation of construction safety and health plans

-Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

*Preferred

-Holders of Safety Manager or Labor Safety Consultant certifications

*Desired Candidate Profile

-Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders to drive projects forward

-Comfortable with on-site work, as the role primarily involves field-based assignments (details of work locations will be explained during the interview process)
