Pricing Analyst

The Role:

The Pricing Analyst will serve as a key member of the Xylem Customer Product Solutions Team, working to maximize profitability by identifying enterprise-wide pricing opportunities and implementing standardized strategies. This individual will develop, interpret, analyze and help implement strategies. The Pricing Analyst will perform analysis on customer and product solutions data to establish key performance indicators, improve decision making and to aid in plan development. The Pricing Analyst will partner with the business unit pricing teams to develop, analyze and implement enterprise-wide pricing strategies. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Work with business units to develop and maintain a strong understanding of enterprise-wide market factors that contribute to pricing performance.

• Support global Pricing Strategy role to develop pricing excellence and standardization across the enterprise.

• Support successful implementation pricing and delegation of authority processes into the SCPQ software system to support ERP systems.

• Develop project plans, conduct necessary research, and analyze operating, customer, and financial data.

• Utilize pricing optimization tools to develop and issue pricing guidance by incorporating market factors and collaborating with business units.

• Collaboratively work with business units to establish and maintain standardized reporting.

• Interpret reporting and highlight specific areas of opportunity.

• Engage with business segments for pricing change communication.

• Evaluate enterprise-wide pricing agreements and provide analysis and insight to business units.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Business.

• 3+ years’ work experience in Pricing, Analytics, Sales, or Marketing.

• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, relationship building skills.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability perform work with a high level of autonomy.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills and knowledge of tools.

• Ability to manage deadlines and successfully complete tasks with a sense of urgency.

• Proficiency with CRM and CPQ systems preferred.

Salary range:

$63,600.00 - $101,800.00
