What you’ll do
The New Product Introduction, NPI, Production Support Technician will support daily operations in our lab and production environment. This position plays a critical part in managing the flow of products through the system, staging production runs, maintaining accurate records, and driving efficient execution of the daily production schedule. The ideal candidate has strong proficiency in Excel, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive mindset.
- Build, manage, and update Excel-based databases to track products, materials, and production metrics.
- Monitor and track product status through the system from start to finish.
- Stage materials and tools for daily production runs in collaboration with lab and commercial team staff.
- Maintain and communicate the daily production schedule; coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timelines are met.
- Perform routine lab support tasks such as labeling, data entry, inventory logging, and sample handling.
- Identify and communicate process bottlenecks or delays in production flow.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives related to lab support activities.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant lab and staging areas.
- Other activities to help the team succeed.
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in a science, operations, or technical field is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in a lab, production, or manufacturing support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, formatting, and basic formulas.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with quality engineering principles and protocols is desired but not required.
Our pay and benefits
- Salary: $50,000 -$70,000 annually, depending on education, experience and skills
- Equity position in Niron via stock option grant
