Senior Financial Analyst

Working capital is at the forefront of everything we do! We are looking for a dynamic, detailed oriented Senior Financial Analyst who will lead the monthly forecasting and annual budget process for the Treasury team, including models for working capital, debt and balance sheet analysis, which are integral for critical decision making. The ideal candidate understands the importance of the balance sheet (not just the P&L) and is an expert with balance sheet KPIs such as DSO & DPO.

The role requires the ability to work independently under tight deadlines, with the utmost attention to detail, and produce accurate, high quality financial analysis for C Level decision support.

 

Key Functions:

• Lead the monthly forecasting and annual budget process for the Treasury and Shared Services working capital model
• Collaborate with internal finance partners including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, FP&A, Controllership and Treasury to gather key model inputs for alignment
• Prepare and improve the monthly Treasury reporting package, comparing actual results against forecast and budget. Provide variance analysis and commentary to explain differences in performance and make improvements going forward.  To be successful in this role, you will develop strong business partnerships to bridge financial model expectations to actual business results. 
• Update and create reconciliation schedules supporting forecasting trends for working capital
• Other ad-hoc duties

Requirements:

• Must have a Treasury or FP&A background, CPA designation (or actively pursuing/near completion)
• 3-5 years of work experience required
• Sharp problem-solving skills
• Roll-up your sleeves mindset with the ability to drive complex analysis over the finish line
• Ability to work with complex data sets, understand systems and data processing
• Must be able to manage deliverables efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Have attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team and with colleagues across different departments
• Experience with Great Plains, Cognos and Workday is an asset
• Flexibility to work additional hours as required
