POSITION OVERVIEW
The Associate Brand Manager (ABM) will play a key supporting role in the success of the Kate Farms product portfolio, leveraging consumer, category, and competitive insights to inform brand strategies. This role requires strong analytical capabilities to track key performance indicators and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and renovation efforts from concept through post-launch analysis.
In addition to leading the development of packaging, marketing assets, and sales support materials, the ABM will provide financial and strategic analysis to guide business decisions and fuel continued growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, CPG experience, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a performance-driven, fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Own and analyze performance metrics of key product lines and support portfolio strategy, including optimization and growth initiatives against defined KPIs.
· Interpret syndicated data, internal sales figures, and research to assess business trends and identify revenue opportunities.
· Monitor market dynamics, competitive shifts, and evolving consumer needs to develop actionable strategies.
· Participation in monthly business reporting process with clear performance metrics and strategic initiatives tracking.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment on brand objectives and commercial targets.
· Assist in cross-functional efforts to develop and launch new products, including critical path timelines, resource allocation, and success metrics.
· Design and execute marketing research to uncover actionable insights that drive brand positioning and consumer value propositions.
· Support the creation of compelling sales tools and marketing collateral that support commercial objectives and drive incremental distribution.
· Execute brand initiatives with measurable ROI that build awareness, encourage product trial, and foster consumer loyalty.
· Monitor marketing spend and ensure alignment with budget forecasts.
· Develop content strategies and contribute to omnichannel campaign execution plans that support consistent brand messaging.
· Maintain internal systems and trackers to ensure alignment across teams and timely execution of brand initiatives.
· Translate consumer insights into product innovation opportunities and competitive advantage.
· Support development of annual brand plans with clear objectives, strategies, and tactics tied to business goals.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
· Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
· 1–3 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods brand management, consulting, or marketing research, with demonstrated success in driving category growth.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data and translate them into actionable plans.
· Excellent organizational and project management skills; detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
· Creative thinker who can generate new ideas and solve problems independently.
· Strategic thinker who can balance short-term commercial objectives with long-term brand building
· Collaborative team player who can build strong working relationships across teams.
· Experience in P&L management and optimizing marketing investments for maximum impact.
· Demonstrates passion for brand marketing and mission-driven brands.
· Strong commitment to company mission and values.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

This position will work in a home/office environment with occasional trips to the corporate office or other meeting locations. Requires 15% travel.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus a variable component that together comprise the On-Target-Earnings (OTE). Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of equity.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest salary range we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of background verification.
$72,800 - $85,000 Annual Base Salary.
For full-time salaried or hourly workers, our total rewards package also include the option to enroll in a company-matched 401k plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive a generous PTO benefit with a starting accrual of 15 days per year (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure), two weeks of paid “Refresh” leave, 80 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 11 paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Kate Farms offers a range of other benefits offered with an emphasis on employee well-being such as paid disability leave, paid parental / pregnancy leave, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), tuition reimbursement, an Employee Assistance Program, and more.
