We are currenly looking for a Traction Power engineer to join our successful team of Rail Systems in Madrid:Here is what you will do: <ul><li>During all the stages of a project, contribute to design development, design risk and mitigation and value engineering, regarding traction power system and traction power substations.</li><li>Be part of the power systems team with responsibility and dependability, with a strategic and critical thinking, considering the needs of the projects and the team necessity with a flexible approach.</li><li>Take the responsibility on some parts of the projects in the development of the TPS design.</li><li>Produce technical reports and technical specification for the equipment and installations.</li><li>Development of electrical studies and collaborate in the TPS simulations for the sizing of the system and the location and main characteristics of the TPS equipment.</li><li>Space proofing design for the TPS installations, including cable routing design.</li><li>Attend design team meetings and defend/justify the design in front of the client or independent reviewers.</li><li>Liaise with BIM/CAD modellers for production of drawings.</li><li>Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of design work in order that successful project implementation and future reliability is achieved.</li><li>Be able to act as technical advisor and reviewer for traction power substations projects</li><li>Ensure that good design practices are followed. Knowledgeable of standards and norms, especially CENELEC and ANSI, IEEE.</li></ul> <ul></ul>
