There will be a focus on continuous integration and deployment.Role Responsibilities<ul><li>Work closely with the Architect/Principal to build solutions that align to the IT strategy/vision.</li><li>Provide support and mentoring to other members of the team.</li><li>Work in partnership with QA counterpart to ensure the delivery of quality software.</li><li>Promote delivery of quality software – unit tests, code reviews etc.</li><li>Experiment with multiple technologies and methodologies as part of delivery, to help guarantee the best solution and approach.</li><li>Deliver against both Functional and Non-functional requirements.</li><li>Take Ownership/Accountability for development of key features and drive to completion.</li><li>Communicate effectively on progress and ensure impediments are raised early to minimise impact on the delivery.</li></ul>Experience / CompetencesEssential<ul><li>Degree or equivalent industry experience</li><li>Strong proficiency in C# .NET/Java development.</li><li>Passion for testing and software quality assurance.</li><li>Familiarity with git-based source control and CI/CD automation.</li><li>Knowledge of database technologies, relational and non-relational.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.</li><li>Solid understanding of secure coding practices and API architecture.</li><li>Strong communication and attention to detail.</li><li>Experience of application testing, demonstrating the software meets the requirements</li></ul>Desired<ul><li>Experience of enterprise software development</li><li>Hands-on experience with web development, for example React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of AWS services.</li><li>Experience with containerization.</li><li>Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.</li><li>Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).</li><li>Experience with TDD, BDD or similar approaches to specifying requirements and design.</li><li>Broad knowledge of financial markets, financial systems.</li></ul>#LI-Hybrid #LI-ASONot The Perfect Fit?Concerned that you may not meet the criteria precisely?
