This position requires a well-spoken, organized and experienced leader to focus on operational excellence across critical financial functions, including stock administration, payroll, accounts payable, future revenue operations, and leading global expansion efforts and setting up regional statutory accounting and related controls and ensure global SoX compliance. This position reports to SVP Finance &amp; Chief Accounting Officer and will play a pivotal role in supporting our path to commercialization and future growth and ensuring that our financial processes are both efficient and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:<ul><li>Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing for employees across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and corporate policies.</li><li>Accounts Payable Operations: Lead the accounts payable function, ensuring timely payments to vendors and contractors while maintaining strong vendor relationships.</li><li>Revenue Operations: Manage the accounting for revenue, ensuring timely and accurate billing, revenue recognition, and reporting in accordance with company policies.</li><li>International Expansion: Lead the accounting for international subsidiaries and expansion initiatives, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements.<ul><li>Support and drive global key initiatives including system implementations, global controls and compliance.</li><li>Support the integration of new business initiatives or international operations into the company's financial systems.</li></ul></li><li>SoX Compliance, Operational Excellence &amp; Continuous Improvement:<ul><li>Serve as the SOX lead for the controllership function. Work with internal and external auditors to ensure the controls framework is effective and manage quarterly and annual SOX reporting requirements.</li><li>Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance financial processes, streamline workflows, increase efficiency and automation.</li></ul></li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or finance.
