Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Lead and oversee FM Group financial consolidation and reporting in compliance with the company's reporting requirements and operating procedures.</li><li>Preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.</li><li>Support the Corporate Controller in the analysis of financial performance, variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to senior management.</li><li>Oversee the corporate department close and analysis of budget to actuals by corporate department.</li><li>Oversee that the SBUs and GBUs are performing regular balance sheet reconciliations and following standard accounting rules and IFRS Guidelines.</li><li>Contribute to the annual budgeting process and financial forecasting, including preparation of corporate allocations.</li><li>Provide accounting guidance to finance and business leadership. Research accounting treatment and prepare technical memos as needed.</li><li>Review, monitor and document transfer pricing topics. </li><li>Assist in managing the company’s internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.</li><li>Partner with Corporate Controller on building and maintaining internal controls over accounting &amp; financial reporting, and remediation of any deficiencies. Work effectively with cross functional partners to design and implement effective controls.</li><li>Projects focused on standardization and harmonization of processes, policies and reporting.</li><li>Be a change agent in driving efficiencies and helping to achieve our goal of operating as a "best in class" Finance organization.</li><li>Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and systems across the organization.</li><li>Take part in strategic projects, financial reporting system upgrades, and process optimization initiatives.</li><li>Support M&amp;A projects and integrations.</li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting</li><li>CPA preferred</li><li>5-8 years of progressive accounting or controlling experience, including exposure to complex, multi‑entity environments</li><li>Public accounting background or medical device manufacturing experience preferred</li><li>Demonstrated oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate throughout the organization.</li><li>Ability to work with limited supervision.</li><li>The successful candidate will have unquestionable integrity and the highest ethical standards.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel.</li><li>Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments.</li><li>Candidate must be detail oriented, have a high level of intellectual curiosity and be an effective problem solver.
