This role partners closely with the Global Corporate Controller and is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and has experience supporting public company reporting and SOX compliance.JOB DUTIES<ul style=""><li>Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes</li><li>Manage, mentor, and develop accounting team members through regular coaching, performance feedback, and career development planning</li><li>Oversee the consolidation of global subsidiaries, including foreign currency translation and eliminations</li><li>Oversee Accounts Payable ensuring timely payments</li><li>Oversee Accounts Receivable ensuring timely receipt of invoices</li><li>Oversee accounting for property, plant, and equipment, including capitalization policies, depreciation, impairments, and asset disposals</li><li>Manage accounting for leases under ASC 842, including ROU assets, lease liabilities, and related disclosures</li><li>Support in coordination with external and Internal auditors and manage audit deliverables</li><li>Maintain process documentation, and narratives</li><li>Help scale accounting systems, tools, and workflows to support company growth</li><li>Support in year-end inventory count (travel may be required)</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration</li><li>Act as a trusted backup to the Controller</li><li>Project management of ad hoc projects</li></ul>EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, &amp; SKILLSRequired Experience, Qualifications, and Skills<ul style=""><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance</li><li>7+ years of progressive accounting experience</li><li>4-5 years experience managing and leading a team and/or multiple functions</li><li>Combination of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience</li><li>Experience working at or supporting a public company</li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements</li><li>Hands-on experience with SOX compliance</li><li>Advanced financial technology skills; experience with modern ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)</li></ul>Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills<ul style=""><li>Certified Public Accountant (CPA)</li><li>Experience at a high-growth or startup company</li><li>IPO readiness or post-IPO experience</li><li>Experience with equity accounting and stock-based compensation</li><li>Strong documentation and technical writing skills</li></ul>
