With exposure to senior stakeholders and regulators in a high-growth fintech/greentech environment, you’ll work closely with an experienced General Counsel. Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills are essential, as well as a passion for training and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic sector.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Regulatory horizon &amp; policy: Maintain the compliance plan; map evolving rules (Consumer Duty, ICOBS, PROD, SYSC, SM&amp;CR) to business processes; brief on impacts and drive timely change programmes.</li><li>Monitoring &amp; MI: Improve upon and execute a proportionate and compliant monitoring programme (including sales, renewals, claims and complaints) and track actions through to closure.</li><li>First-line execution and enablement: Improve and where necessary execute onboarding &amp; annual training for customer-facing teams, including financial-promotion and sales-script controls, so our principal and underwriters maintain trust in how we do business.</li><li>Regulatory returns &amp; reporting: Lead the collation and submission of compliance MI, attestations and other reports to our principal and insurers, ensuring accuracy, audit trail and on-time delivery.</li><li>SM&amp;CR &amp; Fitness &amp; Propriety: Run annual certifications; maintain Statements of Responsibility &amp; Conduct Rule training logs.</li><li>Advisory &amp; projects: Sit “in the room” on new home emergency insurance product design, pricing and marketing; identify conduct risks early and document Consumer-Duty outcome testing.</li><li>Compliance Culture Carrier: Model the compliance behaviours we expect to see, coach the first-line and help colleagues grow their compliance commitment and knowledge.</li></ul>What we’re looking for: <ul><li>Experienced compliance professional: 2–5 years’ second line compliance experience</li><li>Insurance Experience: Experience in retail general insurance (broker, MGA or AR/principal environment), with hands-on conduct-risk and product-governance experience.</li><li>Regulatory fluency: Confident navigating ICOBS, PRIN, SYSC, COCON, DISP, PROD and the Consumer Duty outcomes framework.</li><li>Practical and strategic: Proven ability to offer clear compliance advice, lead end-to-end monitoring reviews, and manage regulatory change.</li><li>Strong communicator: First-class written and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor content to diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Project &amp; time management: Skilled at balancing priorities, meeting deadlines, and leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.</li><li>Collaborative and adaptable: Works seamlessly with varied teams; thrives in scale-up settings and is keen to dive into new areas.</li><li>Creative trainer: Brings compliance to life with engaging training sessions, including for AR obligations under our principal agreement.</li><li>Problem-solver: Spots risks early and implements practical, business-friendly solutions.</li></ul>Extra Credit:<ul><li>ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk &amp; Compliance (or equivalent) is a plus.</li></ul>Our Recruitment Process:<ul><li>Initial Call: Start with an introductory call with our Junior Talent Acquisition Partner to discuss the role and your potential fit.
