Commissioned by the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and Georgia State Road and Tollway Authority (SRTA), the project will add two 16-mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station (Exit 5) to McFarland (Exit 12), enhancing mobility along one of Georgia’s busiest corridors. With a peak workforce of over 500, the project also includes dedicated bus rapid transit stations and significant improvements to the corridor. Construction began in late 2022, with substantial completion anticipated in 2031. <br><br>A Senior Accountant plays a critical role in supporting complex project accounting functions by preparing journal entries, reconciling cost reports, and ensuring the accuracy of project pay forms. The position oversees subcontractor insurance and bond compliance, assists with month‑end close and budget adjustments, and establishes cost codes to meet evolving project needs.
